Over 30 Officials Including Director of Takino Dental Clinic Hold Joint Seminar
Director Son Hyunrak Showcases K-Medical Technologies Such as Digital Full Arch
Officials from Japanese dental hospitals visited Busan to benchmark Korea's innovative digital dental care.
Newton Dental Hospital in Dong-gu, Busan (Director: Son Hyunrak) announced on the 7th that about 30 Japanese dentists, including Director Takino (Takino Dental Clinic in Kyoto), who is leading digital dentistry in Japan, as well as officials from Dio and others, recently visited the hospital.
This visit was organized at the invitation of Dio to introduce Korea's world-class digital dental medical technology and to strengthen ties through academic and dental technique exchanges.
On the 2nd, the Japanese delegation and Newton Dental Hospital held a joint seminar on the topic of 'Trends in Digital Dentistry,' providing an opportunity to introduce and share the latest trends in K-dentistry and the future direction of digital dental care.
Director Son Hyunrak received applause from Japanese dentists, who pride themselves on their precision medical technology, with lectures on cementless prosthetics, which is currently a hot topic in Korea, and the digital full-arch system for edentulous patients.
During the event, both sides agreed on the necessity of mutual cooperation between Korean and Japanese dental hospitals and discussed holding regular academic conferences and practical measures.
Director Takino, head of the Japanese delegation, said, "I have long heard of the reputation of Newton Dental Hospital, which is leading the globalization of digital dentistry, including digital full-arch. In order to actively respond to the rapidly increasing demand for dental medical technology in modern society, we will expand exchanges with Newton and the Korean dental medical system and create synergy for the development of dental medicine in both Korea and Japan."
In response, Director Son Hyunrak of Newton Dental Hospital said, "It was a great opportunity to showcase Korea's medical system, which is growing as a global leader in digital dentistry," and added, "We will continue to devote ourselves to research in digital dentistry and actively support the globalization of K-dentistry through active exchanges between Korea and Japan."
Director Son Hyunrak of Newton Dental Hospital is also dedicated to dental research and development, sharing research and treatment activities with Director Lee Sungjin, and serving as a principal research advisory doctor for the global medical device company Dio Implant.
In particular, he is taking the lead in popularizing easy and fast digital prosthetic treatment as a key doctor for the 'Digital FullArch' technology for edentulous patients.
