A man who visited a jjimjilbang with his son witnessed a suspicious man and subdued him while naked, a story that has come to light.

On the 6th, JTBC’s ‘Case Manager’ featured the story of Mr. A, who experienced an incident at a jjimjilbang in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, last May. According to the informant Mr. A, he visited the bathhouse early in the morning with his middle school son that day. Later, his son entered the cold bath alone, when suddenly a man in his 30s, Mr. B, entered the cold bath where his son was.

The problem was that Mr. B kept staring at Mr. A’s son. Feeling suspicious, Mr. A took his son to the changing room, but Mr. B continued to follow behind his son. When Mr. A protested, asking, “Why are you staring at my son?” Mr. B suddenly started cursing.

When Mr. A’s son fled to the counter, Mr. B followed him again. The frightened boy ran toward the women’s bath on the opposite side, but Mr. B chased after him regardless.

In response, Mr. A hurriedly came out of the changing room naked and struggled physically to subdue Mr. B.

During the police investigation, Mr. B stated that he chased the boy because he thought the boy’s phone was his own. However, Mr. A refuted Mr. B’s claim, saying, “My son never used a phone inside the bathhouse.”

Mr. A expressed anger, saying, “The man was a navy serviceman and proposed a settlement without clearly explaining why he chased my son,” adding, “My son is suffering from nightmares and fear because of this incident.”
