Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Hwang Juho) will begin accepting applications for the 2024 second half experiential youth internship program starting from the 8th. The total number of recruits is 600, the largest in the past three years. Recruitment is divided into the general category (520 positions) and the social equity category (80 positions) for the employment vulnerable.
Applications must be submitted via the KHNP recruitment website by 3 PM on the 14th. Applicants must be youth aged 34 or younger, and there are no academic requirements. However, those who have participated in the KHNP experiential youth internship more than twice are not eligible to apply.
To help alleviate youth unemployment, KHNP has increased the number of recruits by 100 compared to the previous round and extended the basic internship period from 3 months to 6 months. During the internship, mentoring and job competency training will be provided, and outstanding performers and those who work for more than 3 months will be supported with online and offline employment competency enhancement programs. In particular, outstanding performers may receive additional points in the preliminary evaluation when applying for new employee (university graduate level) positions.
A KHNP representative stated, "We will spare no effort to support the strengthening of employment competencies through the experiential youth internship program, so we ask for your interest and active participation."
