Zoom Introduces AI-Based Document Collaboration Solution 'Zoom Docs'... Supporting Improved Work Efficiency

Zoom Video Communications (Zoom) announced on the 7th that it has launched Zoom Docs, an AI-based document collaboration solution.

Zoom Docs is equipped with Zoom's generative AI assistant, Zoom AI Companion, and is provided to paid users at no additional cost. Through the launch of Zoom Docs, Zoom plans to enhance users' work productivity and support smoother collaboration within Zoom's collaboration platform, Zoom Workplace.

Sumita Hashim, Zoom's Chief Product Officer (CPO), stated, "Zoom Docs is the first Zoom Workplace product embedded with generative AI," adding, "It easily converts discussions from Zoom Meetings into meeting minutes and action items, helping teams focus on more meaningful tasks during that time."

She continued, "Zoom Docs is provided at no additional cost to Zoom Workplace paid license users," and said, "Based on Zoom AI Companion, Zoom Docs helps people work happily and more efficiently."
