Kiturami Donates 'Kiturami National Engineering College Scholarship' to Engineering Deans Council

A Total of 546 Million KRW, 182 Scholarship Students from 91 Universities Nationwide Receive 3 Million KRW Each

On the 7th, Kiturami Group announced that it has delivered the 'Kiturami National College of Engineering Deans Scholarship' to the Korea Council of Engineering Deans. The scholarship amounts to a total of 546 million KRW and will be provided at 3 million KRW each to 182 scholarship recipients recommended by the deans of 91 engineering colleges nationwide to encourage their academic pursuits.

Since 1985, Kiturami Group has been conducting various social contribution projects through the Kiturami Cultural Foundation, established by Chairman Choi Jin-min, the founder of Kiturami Boiler, with his personal funds. The foundation has contributed to nurturing talent and promoting industry-academia cooperation through the 'Kiturami Scholarship Support Project,' which has supported over 50,000 scholarship students with a total funding of 34 billion KRW, as well as academic research support projects and development funds for educational institutions.


A representative of Kiturami Group stated, “We hope this will provide an opportunity for engineering students from universities across the country, who will lead the development of Korea’s industry and science and technology, to focus more on their studies without economic difficulties. We will continue to maintain our interest and support so that future talents can be guaranteed equal educational opportunities and achieve valuable results in their respective fields.”
