Messages sent by Jeon Guk-jin (real name Jeon Guk-jin), known as the 'Cyber Wrecker' who was arrested for extorting 3 million won by threatening YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won), to acquaintances before his arrest have been revealed.
On the 6th, an online community posted records of scheduled messages that Jeon Guk-jin sent to acquaintances before his arrest, asking them to give congratulatory money for his future wedding in advance.
In the message, Jeon Guk-jin began by saying, "I recently showed you an unworthy side of me. I am truly sorry."
Jeon Guk-jin said, "This message is a scheduled message. But if you are receiving this message, it probably means there is an unfavorable issue regarding my personal matters. I must have been arrested," and added, "The reason I am sending this message is that my life has hit rock bottom, and although it is shameless, I was wondering if I could receive congratulatory money for my future wedding in advance."
He continued, "I am only sending this message to those who have visited my wedding," and added, "While I am detained, I need money to cover expenses that will be withdrawn from my account, so I am taking this measure."
He then said, "I am truly sorry to contact you like this. If you consider this as giving congratulatory money in advance and make a deposit, I would sincerely appreciate it. I apologize once again," attaching his bank account number.
The account holder's name for the account was confirmed to be 'Jeon Guk-jin.' However, it has not been verified whether Jeon Guk-jin actually sent the messages to his acquaintances.
Netizens who saw the message reacted with comments such as, "Asking for congratulatory money for a future wedding is quite novel," "It's amazing that he left such a message before being arrested," "If you gave congratulatory money, you should get it back," and "The wreckers are impressive in many ways."
Previously, Jeon Guk-jin was arrested on charges of extorting money by threatening YouTuber Tzuyang. He is accused of receiving 3 million won from Tzuyang's agency on the condition that he would not disclose Tzuyang's private life.
Recently, Tzuyang confessed to suffering harm for four years from her ex-boyfriend and former agency CEO, and subsequently filed complaints with the prosecution against Jeon Guk-jin, Gujeok, and Karakula.
