Trump Flaunts Friendship with Kim Jong-un: "Kim Will Dislike Harris"

Donald Trump, the former U.S. president and Republican presidential candidate, gave a positive evaluation of Kim Jong-un, the Chairman of North Korea's State Affairs Commission, showcasing their friendly relationship. He emphasized that he is the right person to resolve diplomatic issues with North Korea and also made remarks belittling Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate.

On the 5th (local time), former President Trump appeared on a live broadcast hosted by American game streamer Adin Ross and made these comments. Trump described Chairman Kim as "a very smart and strong leader" and said, "As I understand it, he (Kim Jong-un) does not like her (Vice President Harris)."

He continued, "I got along very well with him, and we would have had no problems," adding, "Right now, he is very angry with us." This is interpreted as emphasizing that Chairman Kim holds resentment toward the current Biden administration and that Trump is the only person who can resolve this.

Former President Trump also referred to his multiple meetings with Chairman Kim, including the Singapore summit. He recalled, "I really got along well with this person (Kim Jong-un). He was very tough on former President Obama and everyone else."

He added, "He has tremendous nuclear capabilities, and we closely examined them," praising, "I got to know him very well, and we got along. He is very smart, strong, and an absolute leader."

Additionally, Trump said that during the Singapore summit, he advised Chairman Kim, who he met there, that North Korea has very good real estate locations and suggested building condos on the coastline.

Trump stated, "On one side, there is Russia and China, and on the other side, there is South Korea. There are many beachfront properties on both sides," and said he told Chairman Kim to "imagine very nice condos being built on the coastline."

Former President Trump also said that he actually played Elton John's song "Rocket Man" for Chairman Kim. He said, "Kim Jong-un said he had never heard the song. I told him, 'You are Rocket Man,'" adding, "Then he replied to me, 'You call me Little Rocket Man, not Rocket Man.'"
