46 Works Awarded, Including 'The Earth Is Now in the Eco-Friendly Era' and 'Puzzle to Save the Earth'

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director Lee Gwanghun) has announced the winners of the "Fresh Eco-Friendly Drawing Contest" on the official Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters website.

Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters held the "Fresh (Imagination Grows with Children and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) Eco-Friendly Drawing Contest" from May 31 to July 5, inviting children?the protagonists of the future?to imagine "a future world where the climate is stabilized after carbon neutrality" together with nuclear power, an eco-friendly low-carbon energy source.


A total of 215 creative and diverse artworks by children of elementary school age and younger were submitted to the contest, reflecting their high level of understanding of carbon neutrality and their hopes for a cleaner future.


The Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted a fair evaluation based on criteria such as understanding of the theme, originality, and expressiveness, and selected one Grand Prize winner, two Excellence Prize winners, and twenty Encouragement Prize winners in both the lower and upper grade divisions.


Accordingly, "The Earth Is Now in the Era of Eco-Friendliness" (Da-yeon Lee/Lower Grade Division) and "Puzzle That Saves the Earth" (Han-gyeom Yang/Upper Grade Division) were selected as Grand Prize winners, with a total of 46 children receiving awards.

Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Successfully Concludes 'Fresh Eco-Friendly Drawing Contest' Gori Headquarters Eco-Friendly Drawing Contest Lower Grades Best Award (The Earth Is Now an Eco-Friendly Era - Daeyeon Lee).

The Grand Prize winner in each division (1 person) receives 300,000 KRW, Excellence Prize winners (2 people) receive 100,000 KRW, and Encouragement Prize winners (20 people) receive a 30,000 KRW gift certificate. All awardees and the first 100 participants also receive an eco-friendly stationery set as an additional prize.


The Grand Prize and Excellence Prize-winning works can be viewed on the official Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters website, and the winning entries from this contest will be exhibited at Kori Energy Farm for visitors to freely enjoy.


Lee Gwanghun, Director of Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters will continue to hold various promotional events to encourage children, the protagonists of the future, to take an interest in nuclear energy."
