The Jeonnam Provincial Council announced on the 5th that Ju Jong-seop, a Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member (Democratic Party of Korea·Yeosu 6), recently received the Best Award at the graduation ceremony of the 1st class of the Kim Dae-jung Local Autonomy School.
Operated by the Kim Dae-jung Foundation, the Kim Dae-jung Local Autonomy School is an educational program that cultivates local political talents to lead local autonomy in South Korea with a "scholarly sense of problem awareness" and a "merchant's practical sense."

After completing the 1st class of the Kim Dae-jung Political School in 2022, Assemblyman Ju Jong-seop was honored with the award in recognition of his dedicated volunteer activities, including serving as the preparation committee chairman for the Jeonnam branch events of the Kim Dae-jung Foundation and organizing cultural events commemorating the 100th anniversary of President Kim Dae-jung's birth.
Assemblyman Ju said, "The ideology and spirit of President Kim Dae-jung, demonstrated during the process of overcoming the IMF economic crisis, still resonate as great lessons today," adding, "I will strive even harder to inherit and develop President Kim Dae-jung's thoughts and achievements so that the local community can greatly advance."
