Sahmyook University Conducts 'Intensive Training for Airline Cabin Crew Recruitment'

The Career Services Center at Sahmyook University announced on the 5th that it conducted an 'Intensive Training Program for Domestic Airline Cabin Crew Recruitment Preparation.'

This training course was a hub-type specialized program conducted over five weeks from June 25 to August 1 as part of the University Career Plus Center project.


A total of 18 participants took part, including 14 current students and graduates of Sahmyook University and 4 local youths. Trainees were selected through preliminary interviews from applicants who possessed certain foreign language skills and were interested in employment as cabin crew for domestic airlines.


The instructor was Teddy Saem, a professional influencer specializing in airline crew mentoring, who conducted 40 hours of intensive training over five weeks. The education focused on understanding job roles in response to changes in the domestic airline recruitment environment to cultivate practical talents.


The specific curriculum included ▲ analysis of the domestic airline industry and companies ▲ interview trends and acceptance trend analysis ▲ establishment of acceptance strategies based on self-analysis ▲ guidance on writing proper answers ▲ voice and image training ▲ video interview practice and feedback ▲ discussion interview practice and feedback ▲ on-site mock interviews and feedback.


Sahmyook University provided the training completely free of charge and awarded SU points (scholarships) to participating students. Outstanding graduates could also receive benefits linked to recruitment.


Meanwhile, the Career Services Center at Sahmyook University, designated as a '2024 University Career Plus Center Hub-type Operating University' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, provides systematic employment support services targeting current students, graduates, and local youth.
