Yeongyang County Delivers 'Yeongyang Welcome Package' to New Residents

Yeongyang County in North Gyeongsang Province has been delivering the ‘Yeongyang Welcome Relocation Package’ to households moving into Yeongyang for the first time since August 1.

This program was established to provide information for stable settlement and to instill a sense of pride as members of the community for households that have not moved into Yeongyang County in the past five years. The package is delivered directly to households moving into one of the six towns or townships in Yeongyang County for the first time.

The Yeongyang Welcome Package includes a Yeongyang tourism brochure, information on population policies promoted by Yeongyang County, the county newsletter, and other materials containing essential lifestyle and policy information for the new environment. These items are provided in an eco-bag together with a welcome kit.

County Governor Oh Dochang stated, “The Yeongyang Welcome Package was prepared to welcome new residents to Yeongyang County and to help them adapt well to their new and unfamiliar surroundings. We hope that many people will move to our county and enjoy a happy and healthy life amidst the clean and pristine natural environment.”
