CU Launches Frozen Mango Piece Cup for Making 'A·Mang·Chu'

CU is releasing an ‘Ice Mango Cup’ containing about 150g of frozen mango pieces. This product allows easy consumption of the A·Mang·Chu (iced tea with added mango) beverage. When purchasing this product, customers receive a ‘Delafee Peach Iced Tea’ as a gift. Instead of preparing mango and iced tea separately, customers can simply add iced tea to the Ice Mango Cup at their nearby convenience store and immediately enjoy the A·Mang·Chu drink.


A·Mang·Chu gained popularity starting from a post on a social networking service (SNS) in May that suggested replacing ice with frozen mango in iced tea. According to the trend analysis site SomeTrend, the term ‘A·Mang·Chu’ was mentioned over 2,000 times on blogs last month alone. CU’s A·Mang·Chu beverage consists only of iced tea and frozen mango without ice, resulting in a richer taste and lower price compared to similar products from other beverage franchises that include ice. CU plans to expand customer choices by adding various flavors such as cherry and pineapple in the future.

Emart24 is introducing ‘Japchae Tot Gimbap’ based on the recipe of ‘Shinan Popeye Tot Gimbap,’ which won a special award at the Shinan-gun World Gimbap Festa last April. This product faithfully reproduces the award-winning recipe to allow customers to enjoy the subtle aroma of tot. It contains dried tot and pork mixed rice topped with glass noodles, cabbage, spinach, and other ingredients.


Tot, known as the ‘elixir of the sea,’ is an ingredient abundant near Shinan in Jeollanam-do. By utilizing tot, a representative ingredient of Shinan, Emart24 expects to attract customers’ attention with a differentiated gimbap product rarely seen in convenience stores. Additionally, since this menu was introduced at a local festival, the nationwide sale of Japchae Tot Gimbap at Emart24 stores is expected to further promote Shinan-gun’s specialty products and cultural festivals.


LG Household & Health Care Releases ‘Code Glocolor Line Friends Minini Special Edition’

LG Household & Health Care’s makeup brand ‘Code Glocolor’ has launched six limited-edition products in collaboration with ‘IPX (formerly Line Friends)’ featuring the ‘Line Friends Minini Special Edition.’ The most distinctive feature is the packaging and containers adorned with the playful and adorable Line Friends Minini characters. Additionally, the fresh-feeling formula includes the popular ‘Fix On Primer,’ Code Glocolor’s signature product that controls shine and covers pores for 24 hours, designed with a witty concept portraying the secret to maintaining ‘Lenini’s fluffy skin,’ enhancing synergy between the product and characters. Other items such as pact, eye primer, tint, lip serum, and melting stick are also released as part of the special edition. The Code Glocolor Line Friends Minini Special Edition is available at Olive Young’s online and offline stores, Line Friends Square Myeongdong, and Ably.

Aekyung Industrial’s flagship cosmetics brand AGE20’S has launched the ‘AGE20’S Silky Fixing Pact,’ which creates a silky smooth skin expression. This pact contains fine particles of ‘Silky Fixing Powder’ that fill in skin texture irregularities and pores, helping to achieve a silk-like smooth skin. It also reduces the amount of thick and heavy solid wax ingredients and applies ‘Oleogel Technology’ with oil gelling components to provide a thinner and more comfortable adherence to the skin.


AGE20’S Silky Fixing Pact contains 50% moisture base including Houttuynia Cordata extract to help soothe the skin, and tea tree extract, centella asiatica extract, and cica powder to assist in balancing skin oil and moisture. Clinical tests confirmed reductions in sebum secretion rates by 33.4% on the forehead, 45.7% on the cheeks, and 35.0% on the chin. Dunkin, operated by SPC BR Korea, has partnered with the energy drink Red Bull to launch the ‘Red Bull Zero Coolata.’ This product maintains the functional benefits of the energy drink ‘Red Bull’ while using the sugar-free energy drink ‘Red Bull Sugar-Free’ blended with ice. Reflecting the ongoing trend of zero-calorie drinks, Dunkin reinterpreted the popular energy drink, familiar to the MZ generation as a coffee substitute, into Dunkin’s signature summer beverage, Coolata, to introduce this new product. The new product preserves Red Bull’s unique energetic and refreshing taste, delivering a pleasant boost the moment it is consumed. The combination of the tangy flavor and finely crushed ice completes a refreshing visual perfect for summer.
