Gyeonggi Province is conducting an event to support the sale of agricultural and marine products from flood-affected areas by providing them in workplace cafeterias.
On the 4th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold events to promote the sale of agricultural and marine products from flood-affected areas including Yeoncheon-gun and Hwaseong-si in Gyeonggi Province, Seocheon-gun in Chungnam, Wanju-gun in Jeonbuk, and Jindo-gun in Jeonnam, which suffered damage due to nationwide heavy rains from early to mid last month.
First, on the 5th, special lunch menus using Yeoncheon pork, Seocheon garlic, and Jindo seaweed will be developed and served at the cafeterias of the Southern and Northern Government Offices of Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency.
Additionally, 15 public institutions including the provincial government and its affiliated organizations will provide meals using agricultural and marine products from the flood-affected areas in their cafeterias.
On the 7th at 4 p.m., an online market event called ‘Win-Win Live Commerce Hansangcharim’ will be held.
The Win-Win Live Commerce Hansangcharim will feature products from flood-affected areas such as rice and potatoes from Yeoncheon, garlic and perilla leaves from Seocheon in Chungnam, carrots and zucchini from Wanju in Jeonbuk, and dried shrimp and anchovies from Jindo in Jeonnam.
