In the Jeonbuk regional primary held on the 3rd to elect the next leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, candidate Lee Jae-myung won with nearly 85% of the vote.
On that day, candidate Lee received 84.79% of the votes from party members in the Jeonbuk regional tour primary held at the Wonkwang University Cultural and Sports Center in Iksan, Jeonbuk.

Candidate Lee recorded a cumulative vote share of 90.41% in the first to ninth regional primaries (Jeju, Incheon, Gangwon, Daegu·Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, Busan, Gyeongnam, Chungnam, Chungbuk) out of a total of 15 regional primaries. With a landslide victory in the 10th Jeonbuk primary that day, he solidified his solo leadership.
Candidate Kim Doo-kwan received 13.32%, and candidate Kim Ji-soo received 1.89% in the Jeonbuk primary.
The results of the Jeonbuk regional Supreme Council member primary were tallied in the order of Han Jun-ho (21.72%), Kim Min-seok (19.00%), Jeong Bong-ju (13.25%), Jeon Hyun-hee (13.04%), Lee Eon-ju (10.79%), Kim Byung-joo (10.12%), Min Hyung-bae (7.73%), and Kang Seon-woo (4.80%).
