General Affairs and Local Economy Departments Rank First in Kindness and Communication Satisfaction
Ulsan Ulju County recorded a score of 94.1 points in this year's telephone and in-person civil service kindness survey.
This survey was conducted over seven weeks from April 8 to May 24, targeting all employees of Ulju County Office to improve and enhance the friendliness of civil service.
The in-person kindness survey was carried out by professional evaluators acting as ordinary citizens, using a secret evaluator method to assess from the perspective of Ulju County residents. In-person interviews also evaluated accessibility and the provision of customer convenience facilities.
The telephone kindness survey evaluated 400 employees on their listening attitude and responses during the greeting, service, and closing stages through phone interviews.
As a result, the overall kindness score of Ulju County averaged 94.1 points, maintaining an excellent level following last year.
For in-person service, office signage, staff placement, waiting areas, and the availability of forms were positively evaluated. For telephone service, listening attitude, promptness in answering, and explanation skills received high marks.
Based on the results, Ulju County held an award ceremony for the departments with the highest friendliness scores: Communication and Audit Office (1st place), General Affairs Division (2nd place), and Regional Economy Division (3rd place).
Additionally, incentives were provided to employees who excelled in telephone service, and for areas with relatively lower scores, the county plans to conduct comprehensive friendliness training for all staff to address these issues.
County Governor Lee Soongeol stated, "The small acts of kindness shown by our staff will bring great hope and inspiration to Ulju County residents," and requested, "I ask all employees to take the lead and set an example so that Ulju County can provide the best possible service."
