MLO Continues Record-Breaking Sales Streak in Q2 This Year

Q2 Sales of 19.2 Billion KRW... 27.8% Increase Year-on-Year
Growth in Purchase Supply Chain Management SW Market
Strong External Growth Through Large Project Contracts Until Next Year

Emro, an AI-based supply chain management software company, achieved solid performance in the first half of this year.

Emro announced on the 2nd that it recorded sales of 19.2 billion KRW in the second quarter of this year on a consolidated financial statement basis. This represents a 27.8% increase compared to the same period last year. Operating profit reached 1.75 billion KRW, up 50.7% year-on-year.

The cumulative sales for the first half amounted to 33.83 billion KRW, a 15.4% increase compared to the same period last year. An Emro representative explained, "We have once again proven high growth potential by continuously setting new records for the highest quarterly and first-half sales."

Growth in the purchase supply chain management (SRM) software market, along with ▲increased demand for purchasing systems based on digital new technologies such as AI and cloud ▲an increase in projects to upgrade and expand purchasing systems for subsidiaries and overseas corporations of large corporate clients ▲and rising demand for supply chain management cloud services, have driven Emro’s growth.

Technical fees and cloud service usage fees, which occur steadily every year from clients, are continuously increasing. The technology-based sales, which combine highly profitable software licenses, technical fees, and cloud service usage fees, are also on the rise.

In May, Emro signed a large-scale next-generation purchasing system construction contract with the largest domestic company, laying the foundation for stable sales growth through next year. Through this project contract, Emro demonstrated its technological capabilities in purchasing solutions and AI software. It also secured global references for successful overseas expansion.

Emro plans to accelerate its entry into overseas markets in the second half of this year. The global SRM SaaS solution brand name being developed jointly with Samsung SDS has been finalized as ‘Caidentia,’ and active sales and marketing are currently underway, focusing on the North American market. Having participated in ‘ISM World 2024’ and the ‘Gartner Supply Chain Symposium’ in the first half of the year to discover numerous potential clients, Emro will participate in various global supply chain management events with Samsung SDS, starting with the ‘USC Global Supply Chain Excellence Summit’ held in the United States on the 15th. Samsung SDS’s stake in Emro has increased from 33.4% to 37%.

An Emro representative said, "Through the upgraded supply chain management software SMARTsuite v10.0 released in the first half of this year, we will solidify our leading position in the domestic market while focusing on discovering new customers overseas by promoting Emro’s differentiated purchasing solutions and AI software, and we will strive to achieve concrete results."
