A story has been shared about a woman who was witnessed engaging in behavior presumed to be public urination on a main street in Jeju city.
On the 31st, JTBC’s ‘Sageon Banjang’ introduced a story from Mr. A, who saw a woman squatting with her underwear down in a roadside flowerbed on a Jeju street on the 30th. In the black box footage submitted by Mr. A, a startled Mr. A rolls down his window and asks the woman, "Ajumma, what are you doing there?" The woman initially denies by saying "What?" but soon apologizes, saying "I'm sorry." When Mr. A says, "Everything was caught on camera and I’m going to release it all," the woman repeatedly apologizes.
Mr. A claimed, "I'm not certain, but it seemed like right after public urination." He added, "It was a busy downtown area with many passing cars and plenty of restrooms in nearby shops, so I couldn’t understand why she did that." He also said, "I thought she might be a foreigner, but she was Korean," and explained, "There were many children and people around, so I reported it because this shouldn’t happen."
Netizens who watched the video reacted with shock, commenting things like, "I naturally assumed she was Chinese, but she’s Korean?", "How can someone think of urinating on the street? Amazing," "Is she drunk?", and "What did I just see?"
Meanwhile, last month, a controversy arose online when a Chinese woman was seen allowing her child to defecate on a main street in Yeondong, Jeju.
