Dobong-gu Adds 100 Intelligent CCTVs in Remote Areas Such as Parks Intelligent CCTV installed on the walking trail of Choan Mountain Neighborhood Park

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has additionally installed 86 intelligent CCTV locations and 215 cameras equipped on them in local parks, hiking trails, and other areas.

A district official stated, "This is to fundamentally prevent safety accidents and abnormal motive crimes that may occur in sparsely populated areas within the district."

The 'intelligent CCTV' utilizing video analysis software detects situations such as wandering, falling, gathering, and violence, enabling immediate monitoring at the integrated control center in case of emergencies, allowing for rapid response.

The main installation sites are mountainous parks, entrances to Dobongsan hiking trails, walking paths, and junctions, with LED guide signs and emergency bells installed at each location so that park users can easily identify them even at night.

The district plans to install additional intelligent CCTVs by the end of this year to eliminate safety blind spots in the area. Installation sites include Choansan, Dooly Ssangmun Park, and Dobongsan, where 30 intelligent CCTV locations and 100 cameras will be installed. The budget of 956 million KRW for this was secured through special grants and city funds.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, "We expect that the installation of these intelligent CCTVs will greatly enhance the safety and convenience of residents," adding, "We will continue to expand and promote projects related to resident safety."
