The sailing schedule departs from Yeosu Coastal Passenger Terminal at 7:55 AM and 2 PM, stopping at Naro Island, Sonjuk Island, Chodo (Uiseong), and Seodo, taking approximately 2 hours to reach Geomeundo.

Accordingly, the ferry service to Geomeundo will increase to a total of three round trips daily operated by two companies, including the existing regular passenger ship "West Greenho".

In particular, the city expects an increase in tourists visiting Geomeundo due to the summer vacation and the "22nd Geomeundo Baekdo Silver Sea Experience Event" held from August 2 to 3.

Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong said, "This will improve the living conditions of residents on Geomeundo and surrounding islands and is expected to increase tourists' stay time on the islands," adding, "It will greatly enhance accessibility to the islands and significantly contribute to the successful hosting of the 2026 Yeosu World Islands Expo."

He continued, "We will continue to make efforts to provide convenience for island residents using passenger ships and ensure safe maritime transportation services."
