The Residents' Autonomy Committee is a resident representative organization at the neighborhood level that carries out autonomous activities related to residents' daily lives. It develops resident autonomy plans reflecting residents' opinions and implements projects approved through residents' general meetings, engaging in various activities for community development.

Additionally, new members will be recruited for committees with vacancies to further strengthen Residents' Autonomy Committee activities.

Applications for committee membership are open to those registered as residents or having workplaces in the respective neighborhood, those active in schools, institutions, or organizations located in the neighborhood, and those listed in the foreigner registration ledger. The district will provide a 6-hour Residents' Autonomy School training (scheduled for October) for applicants, and final committee members will be selected through a public lottery among those who complete the training. Selected committee members will serve a two-year term from the date of appointment, representing residents and continuing various autonomous activities for the community.
