Card Section with Employees... Expressing Commitment to Regional Balanced Development
Jung Jongbok, the head of Gijang County in Busan, participated in the challenge urging the relocation of KDB Industrial Bank to Busan on the 31st.
The challenge to promote the relocation of the Industrial Bank began on July 3, following a proposal by National Assembly member Park Sooyoung (Busan Nam-gu).
The challenge proceeds by having a participant urge the relocation of the Industrial Bank and then nominate the next participant. Jung Jongbok joined the challenge after being nominated by National Assembly member Chung Dongman (Busan Gijang) and Yeon Je-gu mayor Joo Seoksu.
On this day, Jung carried out the challenge with county staff using a card section method, expressing a strong commitment to the relocation of the Industrial Bank to Busan for balanced regional development.
Jung Jongbok stated, "To resolve the concentration in the metropolitan area and achieve balanced development in Korea, it is necessary not only to expand hardware such as metropolitan railway networks but also to attract companies preferred by outstanding talent and create quality jobs. In this regard, the relocation of public enterprises like the Industrial Bank to local areas is not a choice but a necessity."
Jung Jongbok nominated Jang Junyong, the mayor of Dongnae-gu, as the next participant in the challenge.
