By the 26th of next month... Verification of eligibility for existing businesses also underway
Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province will conduct a comprehensive inspection of 'Good Price Businesses' and recruit new businesses from the 1st to the 26th of next month to stabilize prices and enhance consumer satisfaction.
'Good Price Businesses' are establishments that offer services at prices lower than the regional average. According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety standards, local governments designate these price-stabilizing businesses by comprehensively considering not only prices but also cleanliness, hygiene, quality, and service. The target industries include dining and personal service sectors.
Business owners wishing to apply for new designation should prepare the application form, business registration certificate, and other required documents, and submit them in person or by mail (including email) to the Anseong City Job and Economy Division. Designated businesses will receive certification plaques, customized necessary supplies, and volume-based waste bags. Starting this year, benefits have been expanded to include delivery fee support and an additional 5% discount when using local currency.
The city will also verify the eligibility of 12 existing Good Price Businesses during the period and re-designate them accordingly.
Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong City, stated, "We will support Good Price Businesses that contribute to stabilizing local prices through affordable prices and excellent service, so that we can provide high-quality services to citizens and tourists."
