Through this renewal, global luxury brands will newly open stores in the Luxury Hall. On the first floor of the Luxury Hall, stores of four brands including Gucci, Balenciaga, Ferragamo, and Moncler will open. The Burberry store will reopen on the 29th, and Prada and Bottega Veneta stores are expected to open within this year at the earliest. This is the first time these brands have opened stores in the Bucheon area.

On the second floor of the main building, 21 overseas fashion brands such as Herno, Comme des Gar?ons, Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, and Kenzo, as well as luxury watch brands like Breitling and TAG Heuer, have sequentially opened until June. Earlier in April, the 'Beauty Park,' which gathers 22 domestic and international cosmetics brands including Jo Malone, Dior Beauty, and Sisley, also opened on the first floor of the main building.

Hyundai Department Store Jungdong Branch has been undergoing its largest renewal since opening since December last year. The renewed space covers 14,800㎡ (approximately 4,500 pyeong), more than twice the size of a soccer field. The Jungdong Branch aims for a grand opening at the end of this month.

In April, the Jungdong Branch first renewed and unveiled the Food & Beverage (F&B) specialty hall 'Food Park' on the basement first floor. It houses 56 brands including famous domestic and international bakeries, desserts, and popular restaurants. On the 17th, the premium supermarket was also renewed, featuring 'Showstage,' which prepares and portions seasonal ingredients according to customer preferences, and 'Greeting Store,' which offers customized diet services through health consultations.

According to Hyundai Department Store, the number of customers visiting the Jungdong Branch has increased since the opening of Food Park. From April to June, the sales and number of customers at Jungdong Branch Food Park increased by 36.4% and 30.7%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. An analysis of the age group of Food Park customers during this period showed that 49.6% of total sales came from customers aged 30 or younger. In other words, one out of every two customers visiting Food Park is aged 30 or younger.

A Hyundai Department Store official said, "With the opening of the Luxury Hall, the Jungdong Branch now has the highest level of luxury and overseas fashion lineup in the commercial district," adding, "We expect to absorb shopping demand not only from Bucheon but also from nearby commercial districts such as western Gyeonggi and Incheon."
