Gaseyeon Claims "Tzuyang Met Ex-Boyfriend as a Customer"
Famous mukbang (eating broadcast) YouTuber Tzuyang's side has reportedly filed a complaint with the prosecution against Kim Se-ui, the operator of the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute (Gaseyeon)'.
On the 30th, according to MBN and others, Tzuyang's legal representative, Taeyeon Law Office, submitted a complaint to the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office against Kim on charges including threats, coercion, and violation of the Information and Communications Network Act.
Earlier, Gaseyeon claimed in a broadcast on the 29th that "Tzuyang met her ex-boyfriend, who worked as a waiter while working at a karaoke bar," asserting that Tzuyang met her ex-boyfriend during her university days and that her explanation that she worked in entertainment establishments under his coercion was false.
In response, Tzuyang's side stated, "The claims are not true, and Kim has repeatedly engaged in excessive private sanctions by spreading false information not only about Tzuyang but also about people around her," adding, "The secondary and tertiary damages are extremely severe."
They further explained, "Considering that Kim appears to have conspired with the main perpetrator of this case, lawyer Choi, we could no longer endure their harmful actions and decided to file a complaint."
The lawyer Choi mentioned by Tzuyang's side was the legal representative of Tzuyang's ex-boyfriend. He is suspected of providing information related to Tzuyang to YouTuber Gujeyeok (real name Lee Jun-hee), who is accused of extortion against Tzuyang.
Meanwhile, CEO Kim criticized Tzuyang's legal representatives. On the 30th, through a post on Gaseyeon's YouTube community, he said, "Tzuyang's response has finally come out. Why no explanatory or apology broadcast? I am not someone who gets intimidated by such complaints. Rather, thank you," adding, "Now the prosecution's investigation will officially begin. The investigation will reveal who lied."
He continued, "I do not manipulate recordings or interviews. I will sincerely cooperate with the prosecution's investigation." Regarding the suspicion of conspiring with lawyer Choi, he said, "Clearly present the evidence first," and claimed, "I am not a criminal who takes dirty bribes like Gujeyeok, Jeon Guk-jin, or Karakula."
