Yogiyo Decides Compensation for Customers Who Purchased Gift Certificates on Tmon

Yogiyo explained that this compensation decision was made to fulfill its responsibility to customers harmed by the non-payment of settlement funds. The problematic Yogiyo gift certificates were issued by a gift certificate issuer affiliated with Yogiyo and partially sold on Tmon, with most sales conducted through the issuer's sales agency.

Once the affected customers are confirmed, Yogiyo plans to restore damages related to the unusable gift certificates. Additionally, affected customers will be given an extra 5,000 KRW coupon. Specific restoration measures will be communicated to the affected customers as soon as consultations are completed. Furthermore, to improve customer experience and prevent similar damages, the gift certificate-related system will be upgraded by October.

Jeon Junhee, CEO of Yogiyo, said, “Despite the unclear situation regarding Qoo10’s settlement payments, we decided to support compensation to minimize customer damage,” adding, “Yogiyo will promptly restore customer damages and take full responsibility to ensure trust in the platform is not compromised.”
