On the 31st, 'AlbaCheonguk,' a specialized part-time job portal for job seekers and employers, released the ranking of part-time job keywords for the first half of 2024. As a result, 'convenience store' secured the undisputed first place. Following were popular industry keywords such as ▲cafe (2nd) ▲pharmacy (3rd) ▲academy (4th). Additionally, keywords related to side jobs and multiple jobs like ▲short-term (5th) ▲same-day payment (7th) ▲weekend (8th) ▲short-term part-time (10th) also appeared frequently within the top 10. Popular part-time job brands 'Coupang' and 'CU' ranked 6th and 9th respectively.

Keywords with a sharp increase in search volume compared to the second half of last year also drew attention. The yogurt ice cream franchise brand popular among the MZ generation, 'Yoajeong (The Standard of Yogurt Ice Cream),' saw its search volume soar by 796.0% this year. Interest in part-time jobs at 'popup stores' continues as well. Since the first half of last year, the search volume for the keyword 'popup' has increased by 96.7% and 44.5% every half year.

Conversely, keywords with declining search volumes include 'Tanghulu' and 'Malatang.' Until last year, these enjoyed tremendous popularity with many stores and high interest from job seekers, but this year their search volumes dropped by 75.7% and 21.2%, respectively. In particular, the keyword 'Tanghulu' surged by 766.4% in the second half of last year but sharply decreased this year.

'Data labeling,' which has rapidly emerged as a popular multiple job allowing work regardless of location and time, also saw some demand contraction, with related keywords such as ▲data labeling (-38.1%) ▲data label (-30.3%) ▲labeling (-30.2%) showing a downward trend in search volume.

An AlbaCheonguk official stated, "We were able to glimpse the part-time job search trends for the first half of this year through the keywords job seekers searched." They added, "We will continue to strive to meet diverse job-seeking needs by continuously advancing integrated search functions such as AI-based recommended keywords."
