Uljin County Launches Summer Discount Event on Gyeongbuk Public Delivery App Meokkaebi

Summer Special: 3,000 Won Discount Coupon Issued

Uljin-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, has launched a discount event for the Gyeongbuk public delivery app Meokgaebi starting from the 27th to coincide with the summer vacation season. The event aims to ease the burden of delivery fees for small business owners and revitalize the local economy.

To celebrate the summer holiday, Uljin-gun has issued 2,500 discount coupons worth 3,000 KRW each. Consumers can use a 3,000 KRW discount coupon once per day when placing an order of at least 12,000 KRW through the Meokgaebi app until the coupons run out.

The Gyeongbuk public delivery app Meokgaebi offers benefits to both small business owners and consumers. Small business owners can register their stores without any membership or advertising fees and benefit from a low intermediary fee of 1.5%, helping to relieve their financial burden and create a stable business environment. Consumers can use various discount coupons and, when paying with the Uljin Sarang Card, receive a 10% cashback reward.

Applications to become a Meokgaebi partner store can be made through the Meokgaebi Owner website or customer center. Consumers can download the Meokgaebi app from the App Store or Play Store, sign up, and start using the service.

Since its launch on September 1, 2022, the Uljin-gun Meokgaebi app has reached 186 partner stores as of July, with a cumulative order count of 150,000 and a total transaction amount of 3.796 billion KRW.

In particular, the Uljin Sarang Card payment ratio stands at 70% (the highest in North Gyeongsang Province), receiving an enthusiastic response from Uljin-gun residents. Uljin-gun continues to promote monthly events to benefit both small business owners and consumers.
