BMW has officially launched the new 4 Series Coupe and Convertible vehicles in the domestic market. The exterior has been refined, including the headlights, and mild hybrid technology has been incorporated to improve both engine responsiveness and fuel efficiency.

On the 29th, BMW Korea announced the launch of the new 4 Series.

With this partial facelift, the 4 Series features a more dynamic and distinctive exterior, along with the addition of the latest functions inside the cabin. It is also equipped with an advanced infotainment system based on BMW Operating System (OS) 8.5, offering various convenience features.

Regarding the exterior, new designs for the daytime running lights and bumpers have been introduced. The rear is styled with laser taillights, larger diameter exhaust outlets, and a black high-gloss rear diffuser. The laser taillights are standard on all coupe and convertible models except for the 'New 420i Convertible M Sport trim.'

Inside, the BMW Curved Display consists of a 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch control display. A new D-cut steering wheel and sports seats have also been applied. The instrument panel finished with 'Sensatec' material and the 'Illuminated Air Vent,' which adds subtle ambient lighting around the central air vents, are other notable changes.

The drivetrain has also been updated. All internal combustion engine models of the new 4 Series are equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology. The 48V battery and electric motor provide additional power during acceleration to enhance responsiveness and reduce engine load, thereby improving efficiency.

The BMW New 420i Coupe and Convertible are powered by a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine producing a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 31.6 kgf·m, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The time it takes to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h is 7.5 seconds for the New 420i Coupe and 8.2 seconds for the New 420i Convertible.

Additionally, the M Sport Pro Package for the New 420i Coupe and Convertible comes standard with Adaptive M Suspension, which can adjust suspension characteristics according to driving conditions.

The latest operating system, 'BMW OS 8.5,' has also been applied. It is intuitively designed for easy use without navigating through submenus, and a bottom menu bar allows immediate control of key functions.

Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go functionality, collision and rear-end warning, lane-keeping assist, and other features included in the 'Driving Assistant Professional' are standard across all trims.

The BMW New 420i Coupe is launched as a single M Sport Pro Package trim with a domestic price of 73.2 million KRW. The domestic prices for the BMW New 420i Convertible are 74.8 million KRW for the M Sport Package and 79 million KRW for the M Sport Pro Package.
