Held for the first time this year, Miracle100 is a hackathon where KT employees develop commercially viable services. It was conducted with the concept of "The ultimate survival competition of 100 people for generative AI services," borrowing the structure of a survival variety show.

Miracle100 was designed to quickly test the commercial viability of ideas. Teams composed of planners, developers, and designers developed "minimum viable products" that could quickly gauge customer reactions.

Over three months starting in May, 396 employees participated and proposed about 170 new service ideas. Subsequently, 100 employees selected through document screening formed teams based on 25 ideas to participate in the preliminary round.

The 10 teams that passed the preliminaries presented their services and were evaluated by judges at the demo day held on the 26th at the COEX Startup Branch. Considering commercial viability and technical skills, the 'Susabanjang' team and the 'InsightMate' team received the grand prize and the excellence award, respectively, for their outstanding evaluations.

The InsightMate team developed an AI sales talk coaching solution. This solution provides small talk topics to share with sales counterparts using generative AI. It was praised for its creativity in incorporating AI into fortune-telling elements such as physiognomy and saju to generate conversation topics.

The Susabanjang team developed a voice phishing detection and prevention solution based on call analysis. It trains generative AI with publicly available voice phishing recordings to determine phishing based on call context. It received high technical evaluations for its ability to distinguish between regular calls and voice phishing with high accuracy.

KT will further verify the commercial viability of the finally selected generative AI service ideas. In the future, it plans to develop prototypes that go beyond demonstration services for this purpose.
