Timon and Wemakeprice Apologize for Refund Delays... Notice on How to Cancel Card Payments

If you paid for products with a credit card on Tmon or Wemakeprice but were unable to use or receive them, you can apply for payment cancellation using either the ‘dispute procedure for credit card usage charges’ or the ‘installment contract withdrawal and objection right’ depending on the payment method.

First, if you paid in a lump sum, you can apply for cancellation through the ‘dispute procedure for credit card usage charges.’ However, you need proof that you made a valid payment on Tmon or Wemakeprice but did not receive the goods or services. Customers can apply through the customer center, website, or mobile app of the card company used for payment within the purchase history in each platform’s My Page.

Also, if you paid in installments but did not receive the goods or services, you can apply for withdrawal or objection rights on the installment contract to get your money back. This right can be exercised if the payment amount is 200,000 KRW or more and the installment period is three months or longer.

Ryu Gwang-jin, CEO of Tmon, said, “We are continuously striving to minimize customer damage and actively inform customers about card payment cancellation methods through notices and individual messages,” adding, “We sincerely apologize to consumers and partners and will do our best to normalize the situation.”
