Hanwha Co., Ltd. announced on the 26th that it will participate in the joint establishment of a standard workplace for the disabled to create jobs and support creative activities for people with disabilities.
Hanwha Co., Ltd. is investing in shares and sponsoring monthly creative expenses for artists at 'OLMO Ilsan,' a standard workplace for people with disabilities in the cultural and artistic field in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province. Olmo means "Zelkova tree" in Spanish.
'Olmo' is a specialized company that employs disabled artists as workers and supports their artistic activities. It was established with the participation of various companies, including Hanwha Co., Ltd., centered around the 'Love of the Zelkova Tree.'
More than 50 artists with developmental disabilities are active at Olmo Ilsan, which opened on the 25th. Olmo Ilsan supports its affiliated artists to donate their talents and earn income through various activities such as holding exhibitions, artwork subscription services, and producing and selling souvenirs.
Hanwha Co., Ltd. plans to continuously discover the potential of disabled artists and provide quality jobs to help them achieve economic independence.

Jeon Chang-su, Head of Human Resources Support Office at Hanwha Construction Division, said, "We hope that disabled artists with infinite potential can fully demonstrate their skills at the Olmo Ilsan workplace," adding, "We will support it to establish itself as a cultural and artistic platform that empathizes and communicates with community members."
