Customer "The cheese wasn't cut into neat shapes"
Owner "It's hard to get angry even when treated unfairly"
A customer who pointed fingers at the owner just because they didn’t like the shape of the bread and then suddenly threw the bread has been exposed, sparking public outrage.
On the 25th, JTBC's 'Sageon Banjang' reported an incident that happened on the 20th in Buk-gu, Ulsan, involving bakery owner Mr. A. According to Mr. A, a customer Mr. B, who appeared to be in his 50s or 60s, came to the store. Mr. B saw Mr. A putting cheese into the bread dough and complained, saying, "You didn’t cut the cheese into neat square shapes," and asked, "Is this how you run a business?" In response, Mr. A explained, "Since it’s natural cheese, it can be cut somewhat irregularly," and added, "Even if the sizes are different, I put in the parts with more quantity."
However, Mr. B raised his voice, pointed fingers at Mr. A multiple times, and then threw the bread. The entire incident was captured on the store’s internal CCTV.
When the cream from the bread Mr. B threw got on Mr. A’s clothes, Mr. B denied it, saying, "It wasn’t me," and left the store. But shortly after, Mr. B returned to the store and confronted Mr. A, demanding, "Give me back the bread you threw." Mr. A said, "Even when faced with unfair treatment, it’s hard to get angry at customers," and added, "I hope something like this doesn’t happen again."
After the story was shared, netizens responded with various comments such as, "Customers who abuse their power like that should be reported to the police and legally punished," "Do they not realize their behavior is wrong?" "They look down on small business owners and act abusively," "The owner must have had a hard time in the hot weather," and "Punish them severely."
