Supporting Women Entrepreneurs Going Global... Yeogijong Holds Special Lectures and Investment Consultation Meetings

Prepared as part of the 3rd Women Entrepreneurs Week
Participation of nine specialized investment firms including IBK Venture Investment

The Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 26th that it held the ‘2024 Women Startup Accelerating Investment Attraction and Export Special Lecture & Investment Consultation’ at the Yeogijong headquarters in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu on the 25th.

Yeogijong Holds Special Lectures and Investment Consultation Meetings On the 25th, the '2024 Women Entrepreneurship Accelerating Investment Attraction and Export Special Lecture and Investment Consultation' was held at the headquarters of the Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu.

This event was organized as part of the 3rd Women Entrepreneurs Week to support early-stage women-led startups in expanding overseas. The first session was conducted both online and offline, featuring a special lecture on ‘Entering the North American Market and Attracting Overseas Investment.’ Yuchangnam, CEO of Olix Global, shared insights on the characteristics of the North American market, methods for discovering buyers, and key success strategies under the theme ‘North American Market Entry and Buyer Discovery Strategies.’ Following this, Kiyup Lee, Vice President of J’s Innovation Partners, gave a lecture titled ‘North American Market Investment Attraction Strategies,’ explaining the understanding of North American investors, preparation for attracting investment, and how to establish strategic plans.


The second session featured an investment consultation meeting with domestic investment firms. This included one-on-one matching consultations and networking time with experts. The consultation was attended by nine specialized investment firms including IBK Venture Investment, Shinhan Venture Investment, The Wells Investment, and Sopung Ventures, along with 46 women-led companies seeking investment.


Lee Jeonghan, Director of Yeogijong, stated, “We hope that through this special lecture and investment consultation, many women-led companies have learned various know-how to reduce trial and error in preparing to enter overseas markets.” He added, “We will continue activities to support women entrepreneurs’ overseas expansion and investment attraction so that outstanding women-led companies can build global market competitiveness and grow.”
