Hyundai Card Launches Limited Edition Starbucks PLCC 'Heritage Copper Siren'

Hyundai Card Launches Limited Edition Starbucks PLCC 'Heritage Copper Siren'

Hyundai Card announced on the 26th that it will unveil a limited edition "Starbucks Hyundai Card" plate design to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Starbucks' entry into the Korean market.

The newly introduced "Heritage Copper Siren" applies the logo used at the time of the opening of Starbucks' first store in Korea. The first Starbucks store in Korea opened in July 1999 in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, known as the "Edae Branch," and was remodeled in 2019 to be reborn as the "Edae R Branch." The siren logo and background also use a metallic copper color. The surface is specially treated to create a color-changing effect depending on the viewing angle.

Hyundai Card is running an event for Starbucks Hyundai Card users until the 31st of next month. Members who have no Starbucks Hyundai Card payment history in the past six months and spend more than 15,000 KRW can receive 25 Starbucks Stars. Stars can be used to increase customer tier or to receive free drink coupons. Members with no Hyundai Card payment history in the past six months who recharge a Starbucks prepaid card with 50,000 KRW or more will receive a 50,000 KRW billing discount.

The Starbucks Hyundai Card is a private label credit card (PLCC) launched in October 2020. Users earn 1 Starbucks Star for every 30,000 KRW spent at domestic and international affiliated stores.

Detailed information about the Heritage Copper Siren limited edition plate and the event can be found on the Hyundai Card and Starbucks applications (apps) and websites.
