Gyeonggi Province celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the 8th term of the elected government by revamping its website (gg.go.kr) on the 24th.
On the 25th, Gyeonggi Province announced that the website was redesigned with a focus on better representing the 8th term of the elected government and making it easier for residents to access policy information by removing unnecessary elements.
In particular, the main screen was arranged to allow users to see the status of pledge fulfillment at a glance, the first among local governments nationwide. Additionally, to enhance user convenience, major provincial news and cultural and lifestyle information, which are of high interest to residents, were placed at the top, and the existing banner area was expanded.
Furthermore, to strengthen the representation of the 8th term on the website, the 8th term symbol (BI) was actively utilized in the play logo and background, among other elements.
Lee Kyung-hoon, Director of Resident Communication at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "This website redesign focused on a user-friendly design and screen layout to allow residents to access provincial news more easily and quickly," adding, "We will continue to effectively deliver major provincial news through various methods and actively communicate with residents."
