On the 25th, NH Nonghyup Gyeongnam held an emergency meeting to promote the "Eat Breakfast" campaign for boosting rice consumption at the main conference room of the Gyeongnam branch. Around 60 participants attended, including local city and county branch managers and heads of various business divisions of the central association.
An NH Nonghyup official stated that the stock of Gyeongnam rice held by local RPCs and others is not decreasing, and rice consumption itself is experiencing a significant slowdown.

With new rice set to be released next month and the main harvest season approaching, there are serious concerns about the carryover stock of rice from 2023. This has led to an urgent resolution for local city and county branches, as well as the entire Nonghyup organization, to participate in the "Eat Breakfast" campaign.
Cho Geunsoo, head of the branch, said, "I believe that rice is an essential element for maintaining a healthy diet," and added, "Now is the most critical time for a nationwide shift in perception about rice. I ask all employees to take the lead in creating a nationwide boom for rice consumption by participating in the breakfast campaign and signing MOUs with local governments, companies, and schools in each city and county."
