[Breaking] Prosecution Requests 3 Million Won Fine for Kim Hye-gyeong on Election Law Violation Charges Kim Hye-kyung, spouse of Lee Jae-myung, former leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, who has been indicted on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act related to the 20th presidential election in 2022, is attending a trial held at the Suwon District Court in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do on the morning of the 25th.

The prosecution requested a fine of 3 million won for Kim Hye-kyung, the spouse of former Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung, who was indicted on charges of hosting meals for Democratic Party members using a Gyeonggi Province corporate card during the party's primary election in the last presidential election.


On the 25th, at the sentencing hearing for Kim's violation of the Public Official Election Act held by the Criminal Division 13 of Suwon District Court (Presiding Judge Park Jeong-ho), the prosecution asked the court to impose a fine of 3 million won on Kim.
