The large-scale art exhibition 'K-Art Fair (DICAF)' will be held in Daejeon for the first time in the central region.
The DICAF Organizing Committee announced that the 'K-Art Fair Daejeon' will take place from August 15 to 18 at Exhibition Hall 2 of the Daejeon Convention Center.
The art fair will feature over 120 booths from Korea and abroad, showcasing a wide variety of works by more than 1,500 participating artists, including paintings, sculptures, installations, and media art.
The committee plans to carefully select and exhibit only high-quality works from renowned domestic and international artists. Kim Jinwon, Executive Director of DICAF (Director of Owon Gallery), stated, "Art itself is a high value-added industry, and its potential as an alternative investment asset is limitless," adding, "Many excellent works that will inspire a desire for collection are expected to be featured."
Park Shinyong, Chairperson of the DICAF Organizing Committee, said, "'K-Art Fair Daejeon' is an art fair of a different caliber that will satisfy not only art professionals and enthusiasts but also collectors and visitors from Korea and abroad," and added, "We will prepare to make it a venue for meaningful communication that values the significance of art."
