[Concall] SK Hynix "2Q DRAM Shipments Grow in Low 20% Range Due to HBM Effect"

Kim Woo-hyun, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SK Hynix, stated during the Q2 earnings conference call on the 25th, "DRAM shipments grew from the mid-teens guidance of 10% to the low 20% range quarter-over-quarter, driven by the full-scale expansion of sales of HBM3E (5th generation high-bandwidth memory semiconductor) and a significant increase in general server product sales."

Kim added, "The proportion of sales of HBM, which carries a high price premium, and server DRAM has expanded, and with prices rising across all products for three consecutive quarters, our average selling price (ASP) increased by the mid-teens percentage compared to the previous quarter."

He continued, "HBM sales led growth with an 80% increase quarter-over-quarter and more than 250% year-over-year. NAND flash shipments decreased by the low single digits quarter-over-quarter, while ASP rose by the high teens percentage compared to the previous quarter."
