‘A Practical Real Estate Guide in My Hand!’ Encouragement Award with Booklet

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) announced on the 25th that it has been honored with an award for the fourth consecutive year at the '2024 Excellent Administration and Policy Case Selection Contest.'
The district received the Excellence Award in 2021 for the 'Seongbuk Village Archive, a repository of residents' lives and the city's records,' followed by the Encouragement Award in 2022 for the 'Hope Messages for Middle-aged and Elderly Single-person Households Living in Gosiwon (one-room dormitories),' and the Grand Prize in 2023 for the 'Creation of a Youth Startup Street in the Samyang-ro Area Concentrated with Harmful Businesses.' This year, it added another Encouragement Award for publishing the booklet 'A Handy Real Estate Guide for Practical Knowledge!' and a QR code leaflet with examples of various real estate policy-related report forms.
The district produced and distributed nationwide the booklet 'A Handy Real Estate Guide for Practical Knowledge!' which includes information on real estate transaction contracts, the housing lease reporting system, real estate registration procedures, real estate-related taxes, and a checklist for rental fraud, along with a QR code leaflet containing examples of various real estate policy-related report forms for public use.
Mayor Lee Seung-ro stated, "We will not only produce booklets and leaflets but also continuously update them to ensure residents can conveniently use them during real estate contract processes," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide civil services that residents can truly feel."
The Excellent Administration and Policy Case Selection Contest, held since 2013, is an event jointly organized by the Korea Public Policy Evaluation Association and Open Policy News to select successful cases of administration or policies that have contributed to improving the quality of life of the people.
