Muan-gun Conducts On-site Monitoring Visit for 2024 Integrated Health Promotion Project

Plans to Promote Various Integrated Health Promotion Projects for the Well-being of Residents

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 24th that it held on-site monitoring for the 2024 Community Integrated Health Promotion Project at the public health center on the 22nd.

Fourteen people involved in the integrated health promotion project attended the monitoring session, and Professor Kim So-yeon from Chodang University, an advisory member of the Jeollanam-do Integrated Health Promotion Project Support Group, visited to check the project operation status, provide technical support, conduct monitoring based on the 2024 Community Integrated Health Promotion Project evaluation indicators, and discuss various opinions on efficient project implementation.

Based on the on-site monitoring, the county plans to track the achievement status of the 2024 Community Integrated Health Promotion Project goals, promptly address any issues, and promote successful project progress.

Kim Seong-cheol, head of the public health center, said, “Effective communication and cooperation within the organization are essential for efficient health promotion project implementation,” adding, “We plan to continue promoting various integrated health promotion projects for the health improvement of county residents.”

Meanwhile, through the health promotion project, the county manages health issues in 11 areas including smoking cessation, physical activity, nutrition, obesity prevention and management, oral health, and community-based rehabilitation. It plans customized health services by designing evidence-based health programs analyzing health problems, health indicators, and demand surveys.
