Selected 15 Products... "Developing Energy-Saving and Eco-Friendly Green Products with AI"
Samsung Electronics announced on the 24th that it received the prestigious corporate award, the 'Green Masterpiece Award,' at the '2024 Korea Green Product of the Year' ceremony.

The Masterpiece Award is given to companies that have received the Green Product Award for more than 11 years. Samsung Electronics has won this award for four consecutive years from 2021 to this year. This recognizes the company’s continuous efforts in green product development and green management activities. Following last year, 15 products across all categories, including TVs and home appliances, were selected as green products this year.
Among the selected products, the home appliances include 12 items: Bespoke AI Combo, Bespoke AI Steam, Bespoke AI Hybrid Refrigerator, Bespoke Grande Dryer AI, Bespoke AI Wind-Free Gallery, Bespoke AI Dishwasher, Bespoke AI Induction, Bespoke AI Induction Infinite Line, Bespoke Cooker Oven, Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, Bespoke Cooker Multi, and Bespoke Hood Air. The video display products include three items: Neo QLED 8K, high-resolution monitor ViewFinity S6, and Smart Signage Q Series.
The newly released all-in-one washer and dryer 'Bespoke AI Combo' for 2024 has an energy efficiency that is 40% higher than the highest domestic energy consumption efficiency grade 1 minimum standard. By setting the 'AI Saving Mode' through Samsung Electronics’ integrated home appliance connection platform SmartThings, energy consumption can be reduced by up to 60% during washing and up to 30% during drying.
The 'Bespoke AI Steam,' a robot vacuum cleaner with an integrated mop, is this year’s new product featuring Korea’s first mop steam sterilization function. It removes 99.99% of bacteria on the mop surface with 100°C steam and reduces four types of gases that cause odors by about 95%.
The 2024 Neo QLED 8K TV is equipped with an 'AI Saving Mode' that analyzes ambient brightness and content on the TV screen to reduce power consumption. The use of recycled materials has been expanded to include the solar cell remote and packaging materials. Compared to previous models of the same class, it reduces carbon emissions and has received the 'Carbon Reduction' certification from the global testing and certification organization TUV Rheinland.
Samsung Electronics’ high-resolution monitor ViewFinity S6 uses many recycled materials in the product’s rear cover, stand and stand back, and accessories. It has received UL Environmental Claim Validation (ECV). The Smart Signage Q Series, used for information delivery in public places, has obtained certifications such as Carbon Footprint Carbon Reduction, ENERGY STAR, and the U.S. electronic product eco-labeling system EPEAT.
The Green Product Award is given based on direct evaluations of product environmental improvement effects by experts and consumers. Over 20 consumer and environmental organizations nationwide and about 400 consumers participate as evaluators to select products that possess eco-friendliness and marketability.
