Kyungbok University Construction Technology Institute Establishes 'Construction Drone Online Content Remote Education' Program Gyeongbok University Construction Education Center is conducting an "Online Remote Education on Construction Drones" for construction technicians.

Gyeongbok University Construction Education Center is conducting an 'Online Remote Education on Construction Drones' for construction technicians.


The course consists of ▲Drone Regulations ▲Basic Drone Operation ▲Autonomous Drone Flight ▲Drone Spatial Information ▲Construction Drone Applications ▲Smart Construction Measurement ▲Overseas Case Studies of Smart Construction Technology, totaling 28 hours.


Any construction technician can enroll, and 2 points are awarded as education credits. Construction technicians are required to complete mandatory statutory job training every 3 years, including both in-person and remote education. Since January 2023, 7 hours out of the total 35 hours of remote education have been mandated as in-person training.


The Gyeongbok University Construction Education Center conducts 7-hour in-person training sessions at the Namyangju Campus. Additionally, the one-day in-person training for remote education is operated weekly or biweekly depending on trainee demand.


Woo Jong-tae, Director of the Gyeongbok University Construction Education Center, stated, "We expect this online remote education on construction drone content to greatly assist in nurturing talent with practical skills in construction job fields, leading technological changes in the construction industry, and developing global core competencies."
