On the 23rd at 4:30 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the 'Visiting Bus Drivers Education' held at the Jinah Transportation office training room in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The 'Visiting Bus Drivers Education,' the first of its kind among Seoul's autonomous districts, was planned to prevent complaints in advance through communication rather than administrative action after complaints, due to the recent continuous increase in bus inconvenience complaints.
Considering the difficulty of group education participation due to the varying individual driving schedules of bus drivers, the district has been conducting on-site education on major bus violations starting from April 16 with Nowon-gu bus companies Seongseo Transportation and Orange Transportation.
The education uses actual complaint video materials and covers topics such as ▲ departing before boarding and alighting or passing without stopping ▲ boarding and alighting outside bus stops ▲ reckless driving ▲ refusal of boarding.
During the education held at the Jinah Transportation office that day, about 100 drivers affiliated with Jinah Transportation attended, and a special time was arranged where Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, gave a lecture on the 'Future of Nowon.'
Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I hope this education will reduce residents' transportation inconveniences and resolve the concerns of drivers. Going forward, the district will continue to develop policies that reach the demand side and actively carry out administrative work.”
