UNIST (President Park Jongrae) has been continuously cooperating with IBS (President Noh Dohyoung) to achieve world-class results in the field of basic science.
IBS established its first campus research group at UNIST in 2013 and is currently operating three research groups. In January of this year, the Convergence Science Research Cluster was launched to create synergy between research groups and to establish a stable research environment.
This agreement was prepared to enhance mutual audit capabilities and achievements, and to spread a culture of integrity. The two institutions plan to build a cooperative network across all audit affairs, including ▲information exchange ▲audit personnel support and exchange ▲joint event hosting, to secure the expertise of auditors.
Lee Kwangwoo, Standing Auditor of UNIST, said, "With the signing of this agreement, I hope for active cooperation and improved audit performance between the two institutions, and I look forward to both becoming leading organizations in future innovation."
Choi Doyoung, Standing Auditor of IBS, said, "As two institutions that are producing world-class research achievements in the field of science and technology, I expect that through the exchange and cooperation of audit affairs, we can share strengths between our internal audit organizations and develop internal control support systems that reflect the characteristics of each institution."
