Doosan Construction announced on the 23rd that it successfully held the 'Swing and Share' event for residents at its branded apartment complex, 'Administrative Town Central Doosan We've,' located in Dongnam-gu, Cheonan City, on the 20th.
'Swing and Share' signifies combining golf and charity, and it is the first event where the Doosan Construction We've golf team participated together with the residents.
Doosan Construction explained that this event was planned to provide residents with special experiences and pride even after moving in. Two We've apartment complexes (1,760 households) are already occupied in Cheonan City's Administrative Town, and an additional 1,202 households will be supplied to strengthen We've's presence within the Administrative Town. Besides this, Doosan Construction is preparing to sell two other projects (1,460 households), including the Park City Regional Housing Association, within Cheonan city.
The event was attended by five players from the Doosan Construction We've golf team (Yoo Hyun-joo, Yoo Hyo-joo, Park Gyeol, Kim Min-sol, Lim Hee-jung). The program included golf lessons and a player fan signing session. The one-point lessons were provided to pre-selected residents, with players offering customized coaching based on individual golf concerns. Applicants for the one-point lessons were also recruited through Doosan Construction's social networking services (SNS). The fan signing session was open to all residents, offering a unique experience of receiving players' autographs and taking photos.
A resident who participated in the event said, "It’s amazing that famous players, who are hard to meet easily, came directly to the apartment to give lessons," and added, "I am grateful to Doosan Construction for visiting the complex and preparing events for residents even after completion."
To commemorate the event, Doosan Construction also donated 20 million KRW to Cheonan City’s sports development fund. The donated amount includes 14 million KRW raised through the 'We've Charity Zone' operated during the 'Doosan Construction We've Championship' held in April, plus an additional donation from Doosan Construction itself.
A Doosan Construction official said, "This was the first time we held an event using the golf team at our residential complex, and we are thankful for the great interest shown by the residents," adding, "We will continue to plan various events at We've apartments to enhance resident satisfaction."
