Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon will meet with about 70 student council presidents from 30 universities in the province on the 23rd.
Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold the "Meeting with Gyeonggi Province University Student Leaders" event from 2:00 PM to 5:40 PM at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center International Conference Hall in Pangyo, Seongnam. After completing external schedules, Governor Kim is scheduled to arrive at the event venue around 5 PM to spend about 40 minutes communicating and discussing with university leaders. This is the first time that about 70 university students have been invited for a discussion.
As part of the 8th term Gyeonggi Youth Opportunity Package, Gyeonggi Province is implementing various projects including ▲ Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program (from 200 students at 5 universities in 2023 to 270 students at 9 universities in 2024) ▲ Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year (from about 600 participants in 2023 to about 800 in 2024) ▲ Expansion of opportunities for financial and overseas employment and entrepreneurship through the Opportunity Ladder ▲ Overseas volunteer group ‘Gihee Oda’ ▲ Support for youth capacity-building opportunities.
