This business agreement was made to build a progressive audit cooperation system between the Board of Audit and Inspection and internal audit organizations.
The Board of Audit and Inspection and the Council of Mayors of Provinces and Cities agreed to mutually cooperate in role division such as promoting cooperative audits, revitalizing personnel exchanges, enhancing the capabilities and expertise of internal audit organizations, and strengthening support for proactive administration by public officials.
The Board of Audit and Inspection stated, "After signing the agreement, the Board and the Council of Mayors of Provinces and Cities will continue to make efforts to implement the agreed matters by forming and operating a working-level council for promoting cooperative tasks and detailed business consultations."
