Jinju to Host 'Jinyangho Mulbit Water Festival' This Summer to Beat the Heat

Mini Olympic Games on 27th-28th, Various Events Including EDM Performances

Jinju City in Gyeongnam will host the Jinyangho Mulbit Water Festival at the Dynamic Square in front of the Dream Growth Hill in Jinyangho Park on the 27th and 28th, starting at 11 a.m. The event will feature a variety of water activities and performances to cool down the hot summer days.

This year's Mulbit Water Festival will be even more fun with the addition of water slides and air pools, allowing children and families to enjoy themselves freely. Guests can enjoy water gun fights under streams from water cannons, and participate in various mini-Olympic games in the water, which will be held four times on a first-come, first-served basis with a professional host. Water guns will also be available for free rental.

Especially on the first day of the festival, Saturday the 27th, from 6 p.m., there will be exciting singing and dance performances, as well as a lively EDM show with a DJ, bringing the heat of the live stage to the audience. A surprise fireworks display will light up the summer night at Jinyangho, and guests can cool off under streams of water from water cannons, washing away the heat and stress all at once.

The Jinyangho Mulbit Water Festival is open to everyone, adults and children alike, without the need for advance reservations, so many citizens can enjoy the event to escape the heat. For more details, please refer to the announcements on the Jinyangho Park website.

To ensure the smooth operation of the event, the city will deploy safety management personnel throughout the venue and manage traffic and safety on roads near the event site. Visitors traveling by car can park at the Jinyangho Park back gate parking lot, the Cattle Wrestling Stadium parking lot, the Jinyangho Park office parking lot, and the Traditional Arts Center temporary parking lot.

A city official stated, "With the peak of the hot summer in July, we have prepared a variety of programs for families to enjoy a refreshing time at the Mulbit Water Festival, which will be held together with the Jinyangho Children's Water Playground," and added, "We ask everyone to follow the safety guidelines and staff instructions so that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable experience."
