Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters of KHNP Provides Oriental Medicine Volunteer Services for Local Residents

Wonkwang University Department of Korean Medicine and Yeongnam Association Collaborate for Korean Medicine Medical Service

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, together with the Yeongnam Alumni Association of the College of Korean Medicine at Wonkwang University, conducted free Korean medicine volunteer medical services for local seniors over three days starting from the 18th.

Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters of KHNP Provides Oriental Medicine Volunteer Services for Local Residents The Kori Nuclear Power Plant conducted a three-day traditional Korean medicine volunteer service for local residents starting from the 18th.

A total of 50 volunteers participated in this activity, including 40 members of the Yeongnam Alumni Association?comprising professors, Korean medicine doctors, and students from the College of Korean Medicine at Wonkwang University?and 10 employees from Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, providing free Korean medicine treatments.


The volunteer group set up a clinic at the gymnasium of the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters staff housing in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, offering acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and individual consultations to about 400 local seniors, delivering customized medical services.


Lee Gwanghun, Head of Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters, stated, "Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters will continue to carry out social contribution activities such as this Korean medicine volunteer service to help local seniors enjoy a healthy and happy later life, fulfilling our social responsibility as a leading public corporation in the region."
